Big Helper

So this week we had to get our house ready to be put on the market. The owners of the house have decided to sell the house so we have to make sure it looks great when people come to look at it...the first step is cleaning our backyard, Wyatt was such a help.
He wanted to be just like his daddy, he ws watching everything he was doing and copying him.
He made sure to sweep the porch.

After such a long day, he was still in a great mood, and made sure his daddy knew how much he loved him.

Into nature!

After a week of vegging in front of the tv...Andrew and I have found a new TV show to Netflix(Psych). We decided that we were in need of some good old fashion fresh air, and since the weather was so beautiful on Sunday we packed up the dogs and headed to the store to get some lunch stuff and head up to the mountains.

It was so nice to get away from noise and TV and everyday distractions and spend time as a family up in the mountains. Wyatt was having such a fun time exploring, he took a hike with dad and played with the dog...he thought they deserved some real food so he would make sure to give them any left over crackers or turkey that he had :)

He also enjoyed waving to EVERYONE that drove or walked pass our camp site. Hopefully we can get up there again and stay for a little longer.

Its about time for our bi-yearly post:) Alot has changed since the last time we were on here. We are expecting a new little one due August 21, we are so excited. We will be getting our first ultrasound pictures in a few weeks and we will be finding out if we are having a boy or girl then. We are also back in Green Valley, not sure how long we will be here but we are here for now. Wyatt is getting so big, he is running everywhere and talking up a storm his new favorite word is NO and BALL. HE is officially done with his pacifier and is starting to learn how to use the big boy potty(I will be so excited when he is out of diapers) Well that's about it for now I will be on in a couple of weeks and will post the gender of Baby B!!

Vroom Vroom Vroom

Well, we just made it back from our visit to see the grandparents and great grandparents in the Safford and Duncan area. It's amazing the giant weight that is lifted off of your shoulders as you leave the hustle and bustle of the city and drive beautiful highway 191 up to Safford.

Wyatt had an awesome visit with his Nana and Papa in Duncan; he had a giant smile waiting for his Nana and lots of giggles for his Papa. We then got to celebrate the birth of my dad, Rob on saturday. I love how much all of the family are smitten with our little munchkin man!

But alas...we had to come back to hades aka Tucson. Our demise, I mean trip, was accentuated by a raging rain storm that escorted us back to our apartment.

A little info on the munchkin:

He is growing like a weed! He was 19 lbs and 29 inches long at his 9 month checkup and is standing up by himself like a big boy! He just got a new high chair from our good friends Wes, Christina, and Benjamin and he is loving eating with his hands! It has been a long day and about time to sign off!

Good night and God Bless.

Our ever changing life.

Well its official. We have finally moved into our new place, we are just a few minutes away from the university and although we are sad to leave our big house in Green Valley, we are liking being back in Tucson.
I am very aware of how much junk we have now though, we are trying to fit a 3 bed 2 bath + garage and backyard into a 2 bed 1 bath townhouse, which is very interesting.
Wyatt is doing amazing he is now crawling and pulling up on everything, and although this apartment is smaller so he can't get into as many things he has stairs that he now will have to learn how to use properly....this should be interesting;)

The Tale of the Screaming Baby...

I am sitting here on our computer, pondering life's mysteries, and realizing that it is extremely difficult to concentrate when there is a 5 month old (albeit an extremely handsome 5 month old) that is screaming until hoarseness. I think, hey man, quit crying. It doesn't work. So we are playing the waiting game until he stops crying so we can pick him up and wub wub wub our wittle boy!!

Well, this is the tale thus far of our post summer existence. For those of you who have not heard from us in a long time, we are the proud parents of the single most handsome child the world has ever seen. His name is Wyatt Robert Roehler (anyone tell that his dad is a history nerd?) and he was born June 2, 2009. He weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and he was 20 1/4 inches long.

As with all first time, last time, or in the middle parents out there, we are obsessed with showing off pictures of our little monkey man so stay tuned for the ensuing onslaught of pictures!!

We love you all and hope to see you soon!!
